Itinerary
Wednesday
Arrive into Augusta and make your way to the Augusta Marriott Convention Centre for 5 nights 4* accommodation with daily breakfast. Met on arrival by a member of the Vision 4 Sport Team you will have the evening at your leisure to relax and acclimatize. The Marriott has a great bar so why not unwind with a cold beer or local Azalea Cocktail whilst watching the famous Par 3 Contest on TV ahead of your first visit to Augusta National tomorrow.
Thursday
Breakfast will be available from 6am as the 2022 Masters Tournament gets underway today. The hotel provide a constant shuttle service going up to Augusta National so you can choose a departure time to suit you. It's worth getting there early today though as Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player will be getting proceedings underway once again.
The first official tee time will be 8am on what is the most anticipated day in the golfing calendar. You will be there to enjoy all the action as the worlds best players and Champions from years gone by look to get their Masters Tournament off to a smooth start. Walking the course is always a must, particularly down to Amen Corner where the 12th Green and 13th hole appear through the tall pines to give a tingle down the spine.
At the conclusion of the days play you will have the evening at your leisure to enjoy Augusta.
Friday
Following a long and busy day yesterday today will be slightly more leisurely. Breakfast is available throughout the morning before departing for your first round of golf at The River Club.
The River Club is located in the middle of Augusta and offers a great test of golf with plenty of water to keep you on your toes. Following your round there will be time for a refreshing drink in the bar. The rest of the day will be at your leisure to enjoy as live coverage from Day 2 at The Masters begins on CBS at 3pm.
Saturday
Breakfast will again be at the hotel before departing for your second round of golf.
Todays round will be at Palmetto Golf Club. Located just down the road in Aiken Palmetto is an absolute gem of a golf course that combines genuine southern hospitality with a very special golf course. Dating back over 100 years Palmetto is steeped in history and boasts some excellent holes. Players such as Sam Snead, Ben Hogan and more recently Ben Crenshaw have been to play Palmetto to practice ahead of The Masters thanks to its likeness to The National.
Following your round you will be able to sit back and relax as coverage of day 3 at Augusta begins. Known as moving day the third round is always an intriguing one with the players going out in reverse order for the first time and looking to play there way into prime position ahead of the final round tomorrow.
The evening will be at your leisure in Augusta where the atmosphere will be reaching fever pitch in many of the local bars.
Sunday
Breakfast will again be available at the hotel although today you have full Masters Hospitality at The Executive Club, located just across the road of The National. Open from 7am to late into the evening you will be greeted with a huge array of breakfast options and the warmest of Southern hospitality. Hot and cold food is available throughout the day along with a complimentary bar. The Executive Club also provides great comfort and a number of television screens for you watch all the action both live and highlights from across the week.
Over on the course play will begin at 10am with the leaders going off around 2.30pm. Having got to know the course on Thursday you will no doubt have your favourite holes and locations to watch the action. Your badge gives you full access to all grandstands around the course adding to your viewing experience.
With 4 of the last 9 Masters Tournaments having required a play-off to determine the winner be ready for more than 18 holes today.
After the climax of the tournament and the presentation of the Green Jacket the rest of the evening will be at your leisure to enjoy and celebrate what is always an amazing Masters Week.
Monday
A quiet and leisurely start to the day with breakfast available throughout the morning. Check-out is at midday before heading for home.
